Salary: $23 / Hourly

 

Job Description:

This person is a LEADER…Manager/supervisor in charge of a small crew (2-4 total) in the field on fence installation projects.  Actively engages in fence installation activities alongside the team.  Perimeter Solutions Group (Dallas) – Foreman are considered to be a “working foreman”.

What You’ll Do:

  • Works closely with Superintendent, Production Manager, and/or PM to understand all aspects of the project, issues, and project timeframe.
  • Possesses superior knowledge of materials, methods, and tools required in the installation of all common types of fence.
  • Supervise, direct, and dictate order of tasks to team to efficiently complete fencing projects (all types). Eliminates unnecessary activities.
  • Plan daily tasks and schedule to meet overall project timeline.
  • Inspect work performed by team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site.
  • Responsible for ensuring company policy, rules, and regulations are adhered to at all times i.e. Drug-Free Workplace, Cell Phone Usage, Accurate Time Records.
  • Responsible for safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and tools. Takes ownership of maintaining a clean and properly equipped work truck. Ensures team members respect company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Responsible safe and efficient storage of materials on truck or staged at project site.
  • Constant communication with Superintendent and/or Production Manager to monitor progress and discuss any unplanned for issues.
  • Tracks inventory of supplies and basic expendable materials on work truck. Requests additional supplies as required.
  • Provide necessary input in project planning as requested.
  • Responsible for timely and efficient loading and travel to and from the project site.
  • Responsible tor timely and efficient completion of projects within the allotted timeframe without callbacks.
  • Efficiently organizes and leads job layout, material staging, and unloading process.
  • Shows enthusiasm/pride for finished work product/project, and accepts guidance/feedback where required.
  • Effectively listens to others and provides relevant and timely info to management, co-workers, and subordinates.
  • Respects others, cooperative, and promotes team effort.
  • Develops, trains, and motivates subordinates with a goal of developing a productive team.
  • Consistent and reliable. Can be trusted to give 100% all the time, set the example, and positively represent the Company with or without supervision.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • 5 Years Fence Installation Experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on consistent and daily basis.
  • Professional demeanor and integrity.
  • Valid Driver License (Preferably CDL)
